8-1/2" PDC Drilling Bit Oil Well Drilling Diamond Bits
The PDC bit's compact cutting structure utilizes the mechanical properties of rock, using an efficient shearing method to break the rock and achieve fast drilling. When a PDC bit operates in soft to intermediate formations, the compact cutting teeth overcome formation stress, entering and sliding forward under the effect of Weight on Bit (WOB) and torque. Cuttings are efficiently transported out of the well by mud jetting from the nozzles.
